This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the most significant events in bible history. The death and burial of Jesus was not a defeat but a massive victory over the devil. It looked like the devil won, but it was all part of God’s plan. The plan was to crucify sin in the flesh, ultimately dominating and conquering sin and death.

When Jesus rose on the 3rd day, it was finished. Sin, death, hell, and the grave had been conquered, and eternal life in heaven was established. Jesus Christ is the way to heaven, and it is how we will receive eternal life. When we pass from this life and our souls leave our bodies, if the blood of Jesus saves you, you have eternal life instead of eternal damnation in hell because of sin.

That is why sin is only forgiven when you confess it and receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, according to John 3:16. Without Jesus willingly sacrificing his life for us, we would not have salvation, and we would be eternally separated from God and in hell.

That is why we honor Jesus Christ and celebrate the resurrection, as this is the cornerstone of our faith. It is because of what Jesus did that no matter if we live or die, it is for the Lord. We will always be with the Lord; nothing can separate us from his love. Why would you not celebrate the one who saved your life from going to hell and being separated from God?

Today is Good Friday; something good will happen in our lives within 3 days. Something significant and life-changing, something dead, will come alive in 3 days. Have faith in God and trust in his word. God did not bring you this far to leave you stuck, struggling, lacking, or wanting. God has a purpose and plan for you, just like Jesus. It may look like the enemy is winning, but he is not; it is all part of God’s plan, so trust him.

All praise to God, the Father our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance and inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach change and decay.

1 Peter 1:3-4 NLT

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 ESV

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Romans 8:11 ESV
