Let Faith Arise!

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.

James 1:2-4 AMP

What does it mean to have your faith fully developed?

Understanding this is the key to lacking nothing. First, we need to define what faith is because it is the perfection of faith that results in you lacking nothing.

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality – faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].

Hebrews 11:1 AMP

So, what does this mean? Faith means you believe that you have received something from the Lord before you physically see it. In other words, you do not physically possess it yet, but you believe that you have already received it. When you are in this position in your heart and in your speech, that is faith. It is because of that faith that God releases what you are believing for when it is aligned with his will.

Look what it says in Mark 11:22-26 AMP

Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. For this reason, I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you. Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others]. [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”.

If you are battling sickness in your body or you are standing for a loved one to have a clean medical report. Believe by faith that you or the person you are standing for is already healed because God said it in 1 Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sins, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

Isaiah 53:3 AMP

He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.

1 Peter 2:24 AMP

Both of these verses are God’s spoken word and his will when it comes to healing in your body. There are two key things to pay attention to in both verses. “We are healed,” and “You have been healed.” This speaks in the past tense as it has already happened. Now you just have to believe by faith that it already has. You just have to come into agreement with these scriptures and confess them, believing it is your truth, regardless of the medical report or even the medication you are currently taking.

Faith says no matter what, I am healed, and I will not allow the devil to steal my healing. Jesus paid the price for me to ensure that I am healed, so I will praise the Lord and declare that, according to 1 Peter 2:24, I am healed. Glory to God!

Do you believe the word of the Lord today? Will you come into agreement with the word of God for your life?

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].

3 John 1:2 AMP
